This course offers an introduction to the grammar,
vocabulary and syntax of ancient Greek. Emphasis is on
active mastery of the language through oral and written
exercises in composition and translation. A prerequisite
for GRK102.
MAJOR READINGS
FROM ALPHA TO OMEGA: A BEGINNING COURSE IN
CLASSICAL GREEK, or a similar textbook.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Daily written assignments,
weekly quizzes, midterm and final exam.
