This course is an analysis of the existing system and unit level theories of international politics. It presumes some knowledge of current international issues and of the history of nation-states and the international system. Most students will be Government majors concentrating in international politics.

Several short papers and a research paper. Class participation will be stressed.

Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office. Students on the list of failed enrollments will be given priority if there are openings in the class at the first meeting.
