This course is a study of the three great representatives of
French existential writing. It will concentrate on their
fiction, plays and essays. The main themes and modes of
existential writing will be studied as well as the concept
of the committed writer.

pp.), final examination.

Unless
preregistered students attend the first class meeting or
communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first
class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE:
Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the
Registrar's Office.
