Coastal and Estuarine Environments

This course presents detailed analysis of research
literature on coastal, estuarine, and sublittoral
environments and processes. The course will include field
trips along the Connecticut River estuary and the northeast
shore of Long Island Sound.
MAJOR READINGS
Numerous readings of articles from the
primary literature.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Students will be expected to
present brief lectures to the class based an analysis of
their readings. A term paper will be required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Access to the
course is by application to the instructor.
