International Trade

This course analyzes theories of international trade and
trade policy. Specific topics will include theories of
comparative advantage, the Ricardian model, the
Heckscher-Ohlin model and the imperfect competition model.
Other topics include tariffs, trade policy, import
substitution, industrial policy and the balance of trade.
Current events concerned with international trade are also
discussed.

communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first
class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE:
