This introduction to quantum mechanics covers wave
mechanics, operator methods, matrix mechanics, perturbation
theory, angular momentum; atomic and molecular structure,
symmetry and spectroscopy. This basic undergraduate
physical chemistry course is required for the chemistry
major.

(or 115) and PHYS116 which may be taken concurrently.
Recommended: Linear Algebra (MATH221) and Multivariable
Calculus (MATH222).
