Patterns of nucleophile-electrophile reactions are covered. The workshop is designed to be especially helpful for students taking Bio-Chemistry 383. Proton transfer patterns are given special emphasis. Problems are presented and solved in class.

MAJOR READINGS

A work manual is provided.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Grading (pass/fail) is based on completion of problem assignments.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

This course will be given in the first half of the semester. Students must drop this course by October 23.
