Hominid Evolution: Science and Myth

This course will critically examine the evidence for human
evolution during the Plio-Pleistocene. The course will
focus on two problem areas: how scientists produce
reconstructions of our evolutionary past from fossil
remains, and the ways in which the preconceptions of the
researchers can color these reconstructions.
