Becoming Human: Introduction to Biological Anthropology and Prehistory ANTH151 SP

This course will focus on the transition from our apelike ancestors, existing in a biological world, to our immediate prehistoric precursors, living in an environment increasingly shaped by cultural, social and technological constructions. This theme will be illustrated through the method and theory of biological anthropology and prehistoric archaeology and by reconstruction of various times and places of the past.
