Photo Caption and Credits

An intensive review and development of written and oral skills, with increasing attention given to composition and to reading. The students meet regularly three hours a week to review grammar, perform oral or written drills and analyze the readings. A grammar review, a workbook, short works of literature and other readings will constitute the basic texts. The students are required to enroll in conversation sections that are organized after the first class meeting; the evaluation is based on the individual's participation and improvement. Laboratory work is also required. This course is targeted to people who demonstrate an above-average intermediate Spanish level.

Quizzes, midterm and final exams. Compositions and various written and oral assignments.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

This course is intended for students who have completed SPAN111 with a grade of B- or better or have placed into SPAN112 through the placement test this fall. Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
