A survey of select writings of the earliest believers in
Jesus which came to be included in the New Testament. These
writings will be examined with respect to their historical
origin, literary genre, religious content, and place within
the development of early Christianity.

Mid-term and term paper.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Final essay exam.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting
or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the
first class meeting they will be dropped from the class
list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add
form to the Registrar's Office.
