Aerobic Exercise

This course is designed for individuals who need a scheduled
time slot for physical activity. The emphasis is on
supplying a cardiovascular workout which produces a
sustained oxygen debt. Each classroom period is spent in
standard aerobic class exercises, beginning with a warm-up,
a minimum 20-minute bout and a cool-down period. This
activity is intended to work on the body's flexibility,
strength and endurance. This course does not include
discussions of conditioning, diet or other theory-oriented
topics. Its purpose is solely activity.
MAJOR READINGS
While there are no major readings or
examinations, attendance is required in all activity
classes.

Attendance
required.
First class of each quarter will meet in Freeman Athletic
Center classroom.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting
or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the
first class, they will be dropped from the class list.
NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form
to the Registrar's Office.
