An introduction to basic concepts in Immunology. Particular attention will be given to modern concepts of genetic basis of the specificity and diversity of the antibody and cellular immune responses. Topics will include humoral and cellular immune mechanisms in health and disease and the cooperative interactions among cells participating in the immune response.
