Distributions. Sampling. Estimation. Conditional
probability; Bayes' theorem. Hypothesis, testing. Simple
regression and correlation. Analysis of variation.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Two or three hour exams; a
3-hour final examination. Frequent homework.

Prerequisites:
None except an adequately strong background in high school
mathematics. Students who need extra preparation are
encouraged to take MATH107 and/or MATH113.
