Photo Caption and Credits
The European discovery of the New World and the colonization
of North America. Special attention will be given to the
evolution of British North America and to the emergence of
the United States up through 1815. (This is a new course
that takes the place of Colonial American History and the
American Revolution as formerly offered. Students who have
taken Hist237 or 238 in previous years are not eligible to
take this course for credit.)
