A seminar in modern Hebrew literature, this course combines
readings of literary works by contemporary authors, and
Israeli film viewing. While exposing students to different
literary styles in prose and poetry, the course will seek to
increase the fluency and complexity of the students'
expression and comprehension.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Two short papers, two tests,
and weekly written assignments. Regular participation in
class discussions is required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Hebrew 202 is a
prerequisite. If students have not taken Hebrew 202 they
may take Hebrew 211 with the permission of the instructor.
