A continuation of the introduction to the Hebrew language
skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening
comprehension and to basic Hebrew grammar. Emphasis will
be on modern Israeli Hebrew. This course is designed to
prepare students for HEBR 201: Intermediate Hebrew, in
the fall.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Daily assignments, two tests,
weekly quizzes, weekly oral and written assignments.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Regular attendance,
class participation and individual work in the language
laboratory are required. Hebrew 101 is a prerequisite.
If students did not take Hebrew 101, they may take this
course with the permission of the instructor.
