Photo Caption and Credits
This course will introduce students to original Greek texts
in prose and poetry, with excerpts from five major authors:
Aristophanes (selections from Wasps, Lysistrata, and/or
Acharnians); Demosthenes (selections from the prosecution
of Neaera); Homer (selections from the Iliad); Herodotus
(selections from the Persian Wars); and Sophocles
(selections from Oedipus the King).
