Economic Theories of International Politics

Theories of economics have increasingly been applied
throughout the social sciences in order to explain and
predict nonmarket phenomena better. This specific
interdisciplinary movement has become known as Public
Choice. This seminar represents a systematic study of how
theories of microeconomics have been used to explain and
predict international politics.

in microeconomics strongly recommended.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting
or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the
first class, they will be dropped from the class list.
NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form
to the Registrar's Office.
