Econometrics

Econometrics is the study of statistical techniques for
analyzing economic data. The course reviews and extends
regression procedures. Students work on individual research
projects and learn to use econometric software packages on
the personal computer.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Weekly problem sets, a
mid-term exam, a final and a term paper applying econometric
techniques to an economic problem of interest to the
student.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Students will use
computing programs in the PAC data lab.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class
meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to
the first class, they will be dropped from the class list.
NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form
to the Registrar's Office.
