Photo Caption and Credits
A structuralist survey of approaches to western concert
dance from the middle ages to the present. Particular
emphasis on the orientation to dance of various
choreographers--how dance is conceived, how it is presented
and the nature of the choreographer's role. Projects both
written and choreographed are required.
