Photo Caption and Credits

This class is designed for the advanced student who is ready to work with complex rhythmic and movement sequences. Our work will focus on expanding our physical and expressive range, with special attention on developing an awareness of experiential anatomy and exploring the musical and performance values of the movement material. Assignments and discussions will focus on recent developments in the art of dancing and performance and their relationship to activities within and outside of class. Friday's class taught by different visiting artists.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

May be repeated for credit. Requirement: Placement in Modern Dance III level required by recommendation of dance technique teacher previous semester. Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the Registrar's Office.
