Photo Caption and Credits
Calligraphy has long been considered a fine art, even a
spiritual exercise, in China. This course will include
penmanship, brush-writing and discussion of the etymology,
development, aesthetics and philosophy of writing in
Chinese.

This course is open
to students of Chinese language only. There will be a
course fee of no more than $30 to cover the cost of brushes,
paper and other equipment.
