This second semester of the general chemistry course is recommended for science students. The focus of the course is the chemistry of ions in aqueous solutions and the fundamentals of structure and bonding. CHEM152, the associated laboratory course, may be taken concurrently. The lab should be taken by those who plan to take more than one year of chemistry.
