Photo Caption and Credits
The study of archaeology is considered in a variety of
regions and historical contexts. Emphasis will be on the
development of cultures in the Middle East, the Aegean,
Europe, Mesoamerica, North America, and the Pacific, and on
the way archaeology has shaped our understanding of the
past.
