Photo Caption and Credits
An introduction to free-hand drawing with special attention
to the articulation of line, shape, volume, light, gesture
and composition. A variety of media and subjects will be
used, including the live model. This course is suitable for
both beginners and students with some experience.
Individual progress is an important factor in grading. The
graded option is recommended for potential art majors.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Weekly assignments,
final portfolio and/or final project.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Unless
preregistered students attend the first class meeting or
communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first
class, they will be dropped from the class list.
NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form
to the Registrar's Office.
Course Fee: $40.00. To be used in partial support of
model's salary and for drawing paper.
NOTE: For section 02 (Mr. D. Schorr) all interested students
merely need come to the first class--Wednesday evening,
January 21, 1998, 7:30 p.m., at Art Workshops 107 -- where
all selections will be made. Enrollment in this section
will be through Drop/Add only.
