The course looks at recent research in African art,
concentrating on studies of art and ritual and local
aesthetic concepts.

Research paper; course will
be run as a seminar.

Prerequisites:
ARHA266, OR ARHA295 OR ARHA299, or permission of Chair.
Unless preregistered students attend the first class meeting
or communicate directly with the instructor prior to the
first class, they will be dropped from the class list.
NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form
to the Registrar's Office.
