This course is required for all senior sociocultural anthropology majors. It is intended to help students navigate the transition from research to writing. Each student will present to the group a project based on field and/or library research. The class as a whole will participate in the process of defining and focusing specific problems for further analysis in each case.

MAJOR READINGS

Readings will depend on individual student's
reseach project.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Class presentations, two papers, project, outline and research bibliography.

Open only to senior anthropology majors. Please check the board in the Registrar's office for additional fall course(s) to be offered by the Anthropology Department.
