Practicum on Student Culture

This is a research course on student culture. Students will design and conduct survey of student attitudes, values, and behavior at Wesleyan. Results will be analyzed with the help of a computer program. Background reading on both qualitative and quantitative aspects of social research will supplement the practical tasks of carrying out the survey.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Students will be evaluated on the basis of their participation in the various tasks of carrying out a campus survey and on a written summary of the survey results.
