Small Group Analysis: An Introduction To Microsociology

A detailed description and analysis of social life at the
interpersonal and intergroup levels with emphasis on
relatively small groups and networks of social association.
The principal focus of the course will be on the systematic
interplay among properties of culture and social structure
within the contexts provided by families, work groups,
friends, neighbors, teams, committees, gangs, and other
natural social units involving direct and indirect personal
relationships.

Sociology 151 and permission of the instructor. Students
who have taken Sociology 312 are not eligible for this
course.
