A survey of the "Golden Age" of Russian lyric poetry. Close
reading of works by Pushkin, Lermontov, Pavlova, Baratynsky,
Tiutchev, Fet, and Prutkov; metrics and versification;
intertextual dialogue among Russian poets and between
Russian poetry and the European tradition; imitation and
parody.
