This course reviews and reinforces grammar and develops
speaking and writing skills while reading Russian literary
texts.
MAJOR READINGS
Frank Miller, RUSSIAN VERBS
Aksenov, "Papa, Spell It!"
Chekhov, stories
Short stories by Olesha, Zoshchenko and others.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Weekly grammar drills,
translations, compositions on the readings, regular
laboratory drills, poetry memorization. One more session to
be announced.

Even if you are not pre-enrolled in this class, come to the
first class and the instructor will sign your add slip.
