Advanced Research in Social Development

This course serves as an opportunity for students to be
exposed to advanced research in social development.
Students will work closely with the faculty sponsor and will
be an active participant in field and laboratory projects.
Previous topics have included adolescent social reasoning,
conflict resolution, social cognition in early development
and the development of moral concepts.
MAJOR READINGS
Journal articles, book chapters and
monographs in developmental psychology, philosophy,
anthropology and education.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Term project papers.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Unless
preregistered students attend the first class meeting or
communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first
class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE:
Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the
Registrar's Office.
