HUMAN MOTIVATION

This course examines major theories and research in human
motivation--why people behave the way they do. Special
emphasis will be given to issues regarding achievement
motivation, affiliation/intimacy motivation, power
motivation, and intrinsic motivation. We will consider how
diferent motives affect psychological well-being, emotions,
values, and behavior.

theorists and researchers such as N. Brody, M.
Csikszentmihalyi, E. Deci, D. McAdams, D.C. McClelland, R.
Ryan, A. Stewart, W. Weiner, D. Winter etc.
