How does the human visual system analyze stimuli and how do we perceive them? Contemporary theories and research of usual perception will be reviewed. The course will attempt to integrate the psycholophysical, physiological and cognitive aspects of vision. Students will be expected to lead discussions on journal articles, as well as to prepare demonstrations of phenomena in human visual perception.
