Research Methods in Social Development

This course will examine various research methods in social
development, including experimental studies, field
observation, interview techniques, and experience sampling
methods. The course is intended to give students
opportunities to do research. There will be several
assignments. Each student will also be required to do an
independent or a group research project.

Unless
preregistered students attend the first class meeting or
communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first
class, they will be dropped from the class list. NOTE:
Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form to the
Registrar's Office.
