This optional laboratory course, designed to be taken in conjunction with PHYS116, is devoted to experiments in optics, electromagnetism and quantum physics.

To be taken concurrently with PHYS116; may be elected by students taking PHYS224. Students planning to enter the health professions should be aware that a year of physics WITH LABORATORY is usually required for admission. Consult your major advisor if you are in doubt about similar requirements in your field.
