MAJOR READINGS

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS

Requirements set by each individual instructor. This course requires 12 one hour lessons per semester.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS

A: This course is open to junior and senior music majors who have completed two semesters of MUSC107 in the same discipline in which the student desires to continue. B: This course is also open to graduate students and Graduate Liberal Studies students without a prerequisite. Each instructor sets his or her criteria for accepting students. Private Lessons is a Permission of Instructor Course. There is no computer Preregistration or In-Semester registration. Music Majors are allowed to take (1) Private Lessons course during each semester of their junior and senior years for which the fee will be paid by the University. 1) Students must have been approved as a major during the preceding semester. 2) Students must be studying with a Private Lessons Teacher for full academic credit. (Note: Music Majors may not study with Undergraduate Student Teachers.) This course may be repeated for credit. See MUSC 107 for registration details and a complete listing of instruments offered.
