The Cell Division Cycle

This course will cover a broad range of topics that are related to the process of cell division. We will discuss how the cell cycle is executed and regulated in a variety of eukaryoticd systems. Some of the topics to be discussed include: cyclin-dependent kinases as cell cycle regulators, transcriptional control of cell cycle genes, DNA replication and DNA damage checkpoints, cell-division-cycle mutants in yeast, and oncogenes and cell proliferation.
