An introduction to the Latin language. The course
emphasizes reading ability in the language and will cover
about two-thirds of the introductory textbook (halfway
through the second term we will begin reading a Latin
novel). Intended for those with little or no previous
experience in Latin; those with an extensive background in
high school Latin should consult the instructor about
whether they should begin their college Latin with 101, 102
or 201.
