This course follows Hebrew 101 and 102. Emphasis is divided
among the four basic language skills: reading, writing,
speaking and listening comprehension. Hebrew grammar will be
reviewed. Emphasis will be on modern Israeli Hebrew.
Readings will be in contemporary literary and nonliterary
texts designed for the students' level. Israel films will be
viewed. The students will discuss and write compositions on
topics related to the texts and the films. The topics of
the course will be related to the personal experiences of
students and to life in America and Israel.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Daily assignments, weekly
quizzes and three tests.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Regular attendance
and class participation are required. HEBR102 is a
prerequisite. If students have not taken HEBR102 they may
take HEBR201 with the permission of the instructor.
