An introduction to international politics, applying various
theories of state behavior to selected historical cases and
current problems. Topics vary depending on the instructor.
Professors Crenshaw and Gallagher focus on such issues as
the balance of power, change in international systems,
sources of conflict and cooperation, and the role played
by international law, institutions and morality in the
relations among nations. Professor Gallarotti deals with
many of the same topics, but places special emphasis on
international political economy.
