The course will consist of practice with problems, IN CLASS, to gain familiarization with the patterns of electron flow in organic reactions. A work manual will be provided. This course will be of benefit to graduate students and upper level undergraduates, particularly those taking CHEM357, Introduction to Heterocyclic Chemistry; CHEM354/554, Organic Synthesis; CHEM383, Biochemistry; and CHEM387, Enzyme Mechanisms; and CHEM358, Structure and Mechanism.
