Topics in Evolutionary Ecology

A graduate seminar in which a major theme in evlutionary
ecology (to be chosen at a first meeting) will be examined
through primary readings in the current literature, student
presentations, lectures, and discussion. In order to bring
underlying ideas and controversies into focus, the readings
will involve diverse organisms and approaches.
MAJOR READINGS
Current articles from EVOLUTION, AMERICAN
NATURALIST, EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY, OECOLOGIA and other major
journals in the field.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Oral presentations and written
assignment.
