Principles of Biology II-Laboratory

A series of laboratory exercises designed to demonstrate
principles of genetics and development; the students will
be introduced to a variety of organisms and techniques
useful in genetic and developmental analysis.
MAJOR READINGS
Weekly handouts (1-3 pages) prepare the
student for the laboratory exercise and the subsequent
written report.
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Several announced quizzes and
several written lab reports.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Three hours of
laboratory per week; lab sections limited to 16 students.
Labs will be scheduled several afternoons and evenings each
week. Students should take BIOL206 and BIOL216 concurrently.
You must register for BIOL206 and BIOL216 separately.
