This course will function as a seminar and will be concerned
as much with related disciplines (e.g., history, religious
history, archaeology) as with art history. The course will
concentrate on selected topics in medieval art and
architecture; these will vary each time the course is
offered and will be announced in advance.
MAJOR READINGS
EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Class presentation (30
minutes) plus long paper.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Entry by interview.
Preregistered students must attend the first class meeting
or be subject to withdrawal from the course.
