Early Renaissance Art in Italy

This course will investigate the arts of Italy during the
14th and 15th centuries. All discussion will center around
the contextualization of the work of art, the motivation of
its patrons, the social structures that gave it form and
the uses to which it might have been put.

Unless
preregistered students attend the first class meeting or
communicate directly with the instructor prior to the first
class, they will be dropped from the class list.
NOTE: Students must still submit a completed Drop/Add form
to the Registrar's Office.
