Junior Colloquium: Images of America
AMST202 FA
Next Offered in 9798 SP
We shall examine some attempts to make generalizations about
America-- art, film,

the image, but some of the problems that occur when we try
to abstract so complex a thing as an image or so complex
an idea as America has proved to be. Seminar: group and
individual projects in particular areas (film, magazines,
advertisements). The aim: to discuss and make
generalizations based on differing materials and research.
