Elementary Spanish
SPAN 101 FA
Required Sequence: SPAN101 & SPAN102
Introductory language course. Development of receptive and productive language skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking), with a strong cultural component. Four classroom periods (MTWF) with instructor, one with
TA (Th). This is a required course sequence course; although a grade will be assigned at the end of the semester, credit will only be granted upon completion of SPAN102.

EXAMINATIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS
Frequent written and oral assignments and tests. Daily attendance to class required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS and/or COMMENTS
Juniors and seniors will be accepted as space becomes available. There will be five class periods of 50 min. each.
