Power and Domination
SOC 233 FA
This course draws on classical and contemporary sociological thought to explore the following questions: What are power and domination, and what forms do they take? What is the relationship between those who have power
and those who are subject to it? How does power affect those who wield it, and what circumstances encourage complicity or resistance among those who are controlled? What does it mean for one social actor to control
another?
